BETTERING URSELF IN LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (BUILD)
BUILD is a vocational trade program offered to males and females ages 18 to 40.
Participants are required to write an essay as part of their application into the program. After review and acceptance into the program, aid to participants will be provided to those who can’t afford the programs. Aid includes financial support for union initiation fees and any additional materials that participants may require.
Upon the successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded a certificate of achievement and given feedback based on their performance.
Our mission is to assist individuals in the development of trade skills and will be accomplished through partnership with local unions and other organizations who can provide participants with training for various trades.
