About Us
Neighbourhoods Without Borders (NWB) is a not-for-profit organization driven by a diverse and resilient team, united by their dedication and desire to create meaningful change through a wide range of community-focused programs and services.
Who we are
Neighbourhoods Without Borders (NWB) is a not-for-profit organization. It is based on the engagement of a diverse collective of skilled individuals of various ethnicities and competences, an approach that contributes to a holistic perspective when adding value to the organization.
Members of our board, managing team and staff have lived and learned relevant experiences. Resilience toward overcoming their disadvantages qualifies them to facilitate a wide range of programs and services. We are grateful that our professional accomplishments have created vital relationships with important institutions essential to servicing our neighbourhoods.
Our “Three D” strengths — Diversity, Dedication, Desire — propel us toward making a difference in our communities. This marks the common denominator of the mindset of our dynamic family members.
“Shall they be a family in name only or shall they in all their actions be true to the name”
- Plato

Equality
NWB values treating and engaging all individuals with respect and dignity. We also believe that it is fundamental to listen and learn while reciprocating inclusion and equality.
What motivates us?
We are motivated by what we conceive, believe, set out to achieve—and that is to save lives. We are determined to forge a new direction in which to pursue redemption and prosperity for families, and for those youth whose pathways have likely led toward gangs, prison, or loss of life.
Our Vision
To be a heart in our borderless community, one in which we are known to all, through supporting lives by provision of services and dynamic initiatives.
Our Mission
Neighbourhoods Without Borders’ (NWB) mandate is to serve the youth, and all others in our marginalized and vulnerable communities, in ways that will equip and enlighten their lives.
How will we achieve our mission?
Neighbourhoods Without Borders aims to assist by removing the negativity from scars, stigmas and stereotypes, and lifting burdens of the past. As such, our mission will be achieved via programs and developmental opportunities including, but not limited to:
1. Countermeasures targeting gun violence and crime prevention
2. Unifying our fractured communities through provision of accessible facilities, qualified support staff for educating the youths, youths at risk and LGBTQ2s+ to be empowered for a successful present and future
3. Assisting the presently incarcerated or the offenders recently released with understanding and embracing of their roles and responsibilities in giving back to their communities, empowering them to recognize the impact and influence they can have in saving the youth of today
What makes us unique?
Three critical factors we at Neighbourhoods Without Borders believe makes us unique.
We are:
1. Working aggressively to pursue and ensure in legislation the recognition of Black offenders’ social history and ethnocultural rights, taking into account that belonging to marginalized and vulnerable neighbourhoods fosters resort to criminal activity
2. Introducing habilitation, the shaping and instilling of new alternatives for BIPOC youth
3. Offering specialized yet diverse initiatives that have been developed and are managed by subject matter experts to service our community members
