ACADEMY OF LEARNING STRENGTH & CONDITIONING (ALSC)
Founded in November 2011, ALSC supports and mentors student-athletes who are passionate about sports, academics, and life!

Our funding is dependent upon the contributions of corporate and local businesses, individual donations, along with registration fees. Through sponsorship, fundraising and donations ALSC is focused on reducing costs while providing physical, academic and mental training.

ALSC’s mission is to give underprivileged youth the resources they need to succeed and realize they have options for their future. As such, our program is executed efficiently, keeping our youth healthy and active, which in turn develops our community as a whole.

Our mission will be accomplished via several training modules targeted at marginalized and vulnerable community members ages 4 to 19+ such as:
-
Job sources program
-
Life skill ( job readiness, anger management, how to adjust to today’s new world)
-
Anti-bully
-
Anti-racism
-
Girl empowerment group
ALSC will operate a facility for student-athletes with the purpose of:
-
Offering mentoring and leadership practices to foster overall athletic, academic, and practical life-skill achievements for student-athletes
-
Promoting organized athletic training, games, and recreation with a particular focus on strength, speed and agility
-
Supporting competitive games; establishing and granting awards and distinctions
