STUDYING TO TRAIN & ATTAIN KNOWLEDGE (STAK)
STAK is a program that facilitates the development of youth by assisting them with their academic needs. The objective of this program is to provide educational services to youth on an “as needed” basis.

Our mission focuses on an inclusive learning model. We develop and design our program and activities so that all students feel an increased sense of belonging. Our aim at STAK is to provide support through Special Education in areas such as dyslexia and spectrums of autism. We want to help youth build and develop their strengths in an attempt to maximize opportunities for independence and overall well-being.

STAK leaders will achieve our mission through ABA (applied behaviour analysis). These strategies will increase participation and build on a multitude of skills. We will also use an Orton-Gillingham approach to develop and improve student reading and learning styles.
